Orthopedic & vestibular physical therapy — specialist care, one-on-one

Back pain, post-surgical rehab, and vertigo care from a board-certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist — a credential fewer than 1 in 10 physical therapists hold.

Scoliosis is our specialty, but it's not the only thing we treat well. Dr. Correalima is a board-certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) with over fifteen years treating orthopedic conditions, plus certification in vestibular rehabilitation. The same format applies to everything we treat: a full private hour, one-on-one with a licensed therapist. Never a tech-run circuit, never three patients at once.

Orthopedic conditions we treat

  • Low back pain — acute or chronic, with or without a spinal diagnosis
  • Post-surgical rehab — total joint replacements, arthroscopic surgery, spinal fusions
  • Sprains, strains, and overuse injuries
  • Tendinitis and tendinopathy
  • Chronic pain that hasn't responded to cookie-cutter care

Treatment blends manual physical therapy with progressive strengthening, and — where useful — dry needling, cupping, kinesio taping, and instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization.

Vertigo & vestibular rehabilitation

Few things are more disorienting than a spinning room. Dr. Correalima is certified in vestibular rehabilitation and treats:

  • BPPV (benign paroxysmal positional vertigo) — the most common vertigo, often dramatically better in as little as 1–3 visits with repositioning maneuvers
  • Peripheral vertigo and balance deficits
  • Post-concussion symptoms — dizziness, visual motion sensitivity, balance problems

If you've been told to "just wait it out," get assessed instead — BPPV in particular is highly treatable.

Also treating posture — before it becomes pain

Rounded shoulders, forward head, the "desk hunch," postural kyphosis in kids: the same 3-D assessment we use for scoliosis applies to posture problems that haven't (yet) earned a diagnosis.

Common questions

Do I need a referral?

No — Florida allows you to start PT without one. If your insurance requires a referral for reimbursement, we'll flag it at booking.

I had a fusion / joint replacement elsewhere. Can I rehab here?

Yes. Bring your operative notes or surgeon's protocol if you have them and we'll coordinate the plan around it.

How is this different from a big clinic?

In high-volume clinics a PT juggles multiple patients while techs run the exercises. Here your full session is one-on-one with your therapist, every time — it's why patients finish in fewer visits.

What does it cost?

$250 evaluation, $150 private follow-ups, $500 four-visit package. Out-of-network; superbill provided for reimbursement. Details.
