Scoliosis physical therapy for Cutler Bay & South Dade

About 20 minutes up US-1 or the Turnpike — and built so most of your program happens at home, not in the car.

Specialized scoliosis care is scarce everywhere in South Florida — and south of Kendall it's practically nonexistent. From Cutler Bay, our Pinecrest studio is a direct drive up US-1 or the Turnpike-to-US-1, at 11921 S Dixie Hwy, Suite 209. Families come from across South Dade — Cutler Bay, Palmetto Bay, Homestead — because curve-specific therapy is worth more than proximity to generic therapy.

Why families make the drive

  • Schroth Method, properly taught — Dr. Correalima trained under the Barcelona Scoliosis Physical Therapy School; sessions use dedicated wall bars, mirrors, and props
  • A real home program — because you shouldn't have to drive up US-1 three times a week forever. We front-load teaching so your at-home work carries the plan, with check-ins to progress it
  • One-on-one with your therapist, every visit — a full hour, no double-booking
  • Bracing support — curve-type-based brace guidance and wean-in plans for kids (more here)
  • English, Spanish & Portuguese

Adults too — not just teens

Years of "my back's always been like that" often turns out to be an untreated curve. Adult scoliosis responds to therapy: less pain, better posture, and in some cases measurable curve improvement. If you've been putting it off because nothing nearby specialized in it — that's exactly who this page is for.

Common questions

How many in-clinic visits will we actually need?

More at the start (learning phase), then spacing out as your home program takes over. We design around your drive — it's normal for South Dade families to taper to periodic check-ins. Small-group classes ($65) are another way to stay consistent once you know your corrections.

Can we do the evaluation before committing to a plan?

Yes. The $250 evaluation stands alone: X-ray review, curve classification, posture photos, and honest advice on what therapy can do for your specific curve. More questions answered here.

Getting started

Start with a one-hour evaluation

Send your X-rays ahead if you can, wear something that shows your spine, and bring your brace if you have one. You'll leave your first visit understanding your curve — and with the start of a plan.
